How to get Trotter 685 into Diagnostic Mode
With treadmill in dormant mode.
1. Press 9 9 9 enter on the keypad.
2. Use the + and – buttons to select a specific test.
3. Press "enter" to activate each test.

Diagnostic Menu Dynamic Tests
1. Program revision level To start the treadmill in Dynamic Test Mode press the "manual start" button.
2. Dynamic tests (press "enter" to select the test).
3. LED test ERROR REGISTER: lists the current error code.
4. Tone generator test LINE FREQUENCY: displays the electrical of the power source in Hz.
5. Overlay test MOTOR CURRENT: displays the average current draw over the last 15 seconds. Current draw should never exceed 8 amps with 180lbs load at 5 mph.
6. DMD Cable MOTOR VOLTAGE: displays DC voltage getting to the drive motor. (At full speed the DC voltage should read 188 VDC.)
7. RS0232 port check
